Office Location & Design
An addition to Eugene's continuing downtown revitalization and conceived as a mixed-use modern urban facility, the Heron Building, was primarily influenced by American urban traditions, but also reflects a number of European influences. These include its dramatic entry tower on Oliver Street and finely crafted detailing throughout. An Old World influence can also be found in the building's colors: sun-baked earths, reds and ochre's inspired by the hill towns of Tuscany.
The Heron Building was built with leading edge energy saving technologies; the heating and cooling systems as well as compact fluorescent lighting. Each of the windows open allowing for bursts of fresh air which aid in creating a healthier and happier work environment.
